Christ the Lord is Risen Today

Happy Easter! Today we celebrate the resurrection of the most important historical figure of all time. Say way you may about Jesus of Nazareth, there can be little doubt that he changed the course of history. I had never really considered this before, but as was pointed out by the pastor at my parents' church today, Jesus Christ is so important that every major religion has to take a stance on who he was. There is no other person who has walked this earth who has elicited the need for all religions to address who they were. Now the question is, who was Christ? It's a quote that is used so often, but to paraphrase C. S. Lewis, either Jesus was crazy, evil or he was who he said he was. Jesus left us no other option. Who was he? It is of critical importance that every person consider this, because it could have eternal consequences.

Milk

I was always taught to check the best before dates on milk and buy the one that was furthest away. However, I recently realized that I was finishing the milk long before it hit its best it went bad. I began to think that Safeway must be left with jugs of old milk they can't get rid of because everyone takes the stuff that expires a few days after them. So now I buy the one with the closest date and I still finish it with time to spare. Just doing my part for the environment.
